I think I have mentioned on this blog in the past that I live in Northern California. So, as such, I don’t get down to the park in Anaheim very often, and I certainly don’t make it to WDW in Florida very often. Recently though, I have been to Disneyland a few times and one of the more memorable take-aways for me was the fire-works show that they put on each night in the summer time.
The last time I was there, I was actually out looking for postcards when the show started. I have seen a lot of fireworks shows…not tons, but enough to know what is a good show and what is not so good. Well…the show at Disneyland is pretty epic! It just keeps going and going…until you get to this crazy finale.
I don’t know what fireworks of that nature cost…but, being able to have a front row seat to that show is worth at least a decent part of the price of admission to the park (what is it now…$88, $90…I forget).
Anyway…this card, NT-1287 shows a picture of the show from the 1970’s (I suspect). I would be curious to know from regulars at the park how the show has grown and changed over the years. Oh…this card is pretty common by the way…you should be able to pick up a copy for under a dollar, especially if it is part of a lot on eBay.
Until next time…
