It’s been a while since I visited the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, even though I live quite close to it. It really is a great place. One thing I always tell people though…it’s not the Disney “Family Museum”, but the “Disney Family” Museum. That is to say…the museum is more geared to adults, than kids. It has a lot of great things for the kids to look at…but let’s face it, it is a museum…and you know how kids can be in a museum!
Well..all that to say I picked up these cards when I was there. They have this amazing diorama of Disneyland there, and three of these cards show close up views of that. The other card is of the restored Presidio building where the museum resides.
If you ever get a chance to visit here, make sure you walk up to the top of the parking area. There is an old officers club there, and part of the structure is the oldest building in San Francisco dating from the mid 18th century.
Until next time…
