{"id":90,"date":"2012-08-24T01:09:49","date_gmt":"2012-08-24T01:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/?p=90"},"modified":"2012-08-26T05:15:10","modified_gmt":"2012-08-26T05:15:10","slug":"the-disney-family-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sundrycollectibles.net\/disneypostcards\/the-disney-family-museum\/","title":{"rendered":"The Disney Family Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a while since I visited the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, even though I live quite close to it. \u00a0It really is a great place. \u00a0One thing I always tell people though&#8230;it&#8217;s not the Disney &#8220;Family Museum&#8221;, but the &#8220;Disney Family&#8221; Museum. \u00a0That is to say&#8230;the museum is more geared to adults, than kids. \u00a0It has a lot of great things for the kids to look at&#8230;but let&#8217;s face it, it is a museum&#8230;and you know how kids can be in a museum!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM_0002.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"WDFM_0002\" src=\"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM_0002-300x212.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-94\" title=\"WDFM\" src=\"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM-300x213.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"213\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sundrycollectibles.net\/disneypostcards\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM-300x213.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sundrycollectibles.net\/disneypostcards\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Well..all that to say I picked up these cards when I was there. \u00a0They have this amazing diorama of Disneyland there, and three of these cards show close up views of that. \u00a0The other card is of the restored Presidio building where the museum resides.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM_0001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"WDFM_0001\" src=\"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM_0001-212x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"212\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"WDFM-2\" src=\"http:\/\/disneypostcards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/WDFM-2-213x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"213\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you ever get a chance to visit here, make sure you walk up to the top of the parking area. \u00a0There is an old officers club there, and part of the structure is the oldest building in San Francisco dating from the mid 18th century.<\/p>\n<p>Until next time&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a while since I visited the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, even though I live quite close to it. \u00a0It really is a great place. \u00a0One thing I always tell people though&#8230;it&#8217;s not the Disney &#8220;Family Museum&#8221;, &hellip;
