I was getting ready to update the price guide for\u00a0the\u00a01-XXX cards, and thought I would post on what is a semi-common\u00a0occurrence\u00a0in this set of cards. \u00a0The Nickel Tour says that multiple publishers were working on printing these cards (that’s why there are slightly different number combinations 1-xxx, 1-xxx SCxxxx and 1-xxx DTxxxxxC). \u00a0Sometimes the same images are on cards with\u00a0different\u00a0numbers, sometimes different images are on cards with the same number. \u00a0In this\u00a0particular\u00a0case, we have a different image, but an identical back.<\/p>\n

I am just guessing, but the park must have been using three producers of cards because they were selling tons of them. \u00a0Nowadays, a lot of these cards are very common and not hard to find. \u00a0Some are harder…but I have to believe they are out there somewhere.<\/p>\n
